I couldn't believe what a difference it made...

When I bought my GoldTone OB-150 I didn't like the sound of it so I got kinda bummed as I did more research into changing the tone... first I tried replacing the nut with bone, incrementally better, but still dull. Then I replaced the bridge with a Snuffy Smith Pegged bridge... MUCH better, but still not that "twangy" sound I was really looking for... then I bought one of these things... my goodness, the second I installed it it was just "there" if you know what I mean. I bought a Recording King R35 for myself this Christmas and I really felt like my OB-150 sounded better, so this time I went with an Arthur Hatfield bridge, but again the sound wasn't complete without the BanjoMate so I purchased another one, and MAN this thing sounds great! I admit that it seems "dumb" at first, because you don't think that putting something inside the resonator is going to make that much of a difference, but it really does... buy this, you won't regret it!
